-Proud to be recognised for innovation

(14th of September 2015) Last night saw the presentation of the IBC 2015 Innovation Awards in Amsterdam.
Norkring was highly commended as one of the nominees in the Content Delivery category for its development of the digital terrestrial network for radio in Norway, in prestigious company with players from around the world.

– It was a great honour for Norkring, our customers and our collaboration partners to be nominated amongst so many registered projects. Norkring has established the world’s most extensive DAB+ network in a country with challenging topography and climate and we have every reason to consider ourselves a winner, says Torbjørn Ø. Teigen, CEO in Norkring.

Customers in attendance
Norkring attended the ceremony along with its customers and collaboration partners, all of whom can reflect with considerable satisfaction over the fact that, thanks to today’s DAB coverage, radio listeners across Norway are receiving more channels and more content. The DAB project is also contributing to the FM switch-off in Norway in 2017.
