Norkring in Norway was established in 1996 and operates most of the terrestrial broadcasting transmission stations in Norway. Today the company is 100% owned by Telenor.

Norkring is the owner of a large amount of terrestrial transmitters spread throughout Norway. The country has a demanding topography in terms of broadcasting, hence the large number of transmitters.
